In addition to CELSE, EPESA (Centrais Elétricas de Pernambuco), EPASA (Centrais Elétricas da Paraíba) and TermoCabo are part of the group.
Golar Power is a joint-venture between Golar LNG and Stonepeak
Golar LNG is a Norwegian shipping company founded in 2001. Its business mainly comprises the transport of liquefied natural gas (LNGC), floating liquefaction (FLNG) and floating storage and regasification units (FSRU).
Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners is a North America focused private equity firm with a conservative yet opportunistic approach to infrastructure investing. Stonepeak invests in businesses comprised of hard assets with leading market positions primarily in the following sectors: Energy, Power & Renewables, Transportation, Utilities, Water & Communications. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in New York, Stonepeak manages over $15 billion of capital for its investors (as of June 30, 2018).
In 2016, Golar and Stonepeak formed Golar Power, which invests in infrastructure and integrated power generation and liquefied natural gas projects.
